Cherries returned to the Spanish market for the second time this summer, bringing right-back Juanlu Sánchez in from Sevilla.

The 22-year-old was born in Seville and has spent his whole career at his boyhood club, bar a solo season out on loan at Mirandes.

He made his official first-team debut for the club in December 2021, going on to play more than 100 times.

Juanlu’s spell in the side has coincided with a difficult spell for Sevilla, placing in the bottom half of LaLiga in each of the past four seasons, avoiding relegation by just one point in 2024-25.
