Hand Cherries a lead at your peril - Bournemouth are red, black, and solid at the back

Cherries are one game away from matching the club's record for most consecutive clean sheets - but already they are in esteemed company when it comes to runs without conceding. Saturday's display against Leeds proved their defensive chops even further.

AFC Bournemouth may never concede another goal. The likelihood is they will, but Saturday’s victory over Leeds highlighted that Cherries possess resilience at the back, as well as multiple tools to record a clean sheet.

Marco Rose’s side are now just one game away from equalising the club record for consecutive games without conceding, set by Harry Redknapp’s team in 1984 and matched by Mel Machin’s side in 1995.

It is the first time Cherries have kept three clean sheets in a row in the Premier League since October 2019. This run deserves to be placed in the following context - six games without conceding across all competitions is quite rare.
