AFC Bournemouth made it three games in a row to start the Premier League season with points dropped late on, contriving to draw 2-2 with Newcastle United.
For the first 30 minutes or so Cherries looked at home on the road, matching their supporters’ early start for the 12.30pm kick-off on Tyneside with two goals.
However, immediately after doubling their lead, Cherries briefly lost composure, allowing Harvey Barnes to cut inside from the left and find the top right corner.
Bournemouth managed to wrestle back rough control of the game, with Newcastle unable to generate any further danger going forward.
