Now is not the time for scapegoats at AFC Bournemouth
Cherries’ search for a first Premier League win under Marco Rose continues, with another strong showing resulting in just the one point against Brentford.
I don’t mean to evoke the spirit of Scott Parker by saying that AFC Bournemouth were the wrong side of a few fine margins, but yet again three points felt within Cherries’ reach before settling for a 2-2 draw.
For those that haven’t brushed up on their Parkerese since he left the club in August 2022, fine margins usually referred to select moments - unfortunate bounces, missed opportunities, and lapses in concentration.
